The President General (PG) of Anambra State Towns People Association (ASTPA), Chief Arinze Anadu has stated that the 2021 Anambra Day is an innovation to what it used to be.
Anambra Day is a biannual event that is held every odd year. The last edition held in 2019 took place at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The 2021 event which took place at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja, on October 24, 2021 is a deviation from the usual mini carnival. It is a cultural symposium termed ” Taa Bu Gboo ”.

The PG when addressing newsmen said this year’s event is an innovation intended to introduce a new normal to the biannual event. He promised that the next Anambra Day will be a combination of a mini carnival and symposium.
On the other hand, the vice president of ASTPA, Engr. Emmanuel Chikeluo said the event will get better during next edition as this is the maiden edition of the symposium.
