The General Assembly of Anambra State Towns (People) Association, ASTPA – Abuja, has ratified the choice of the 2019 Anambra Day planning committee on the theme of this year’s event. The approved theme which is the central message ASTPA intends to pass to her members and Ndigbo in general is IGWEBUIKE.
While unveiling the above theme at the general meeting of the Association on Tuesday, 28th May 2019, the President General of ASTPA, Engr Ike Iwenofu (Ezennia) urged the representatives of member Town Unions to preach the message of the theme – IGWEBUIKE – to members of their respective Town Unions as they prepare for the 30th November 2019 fiesta.

Anambra Day in Abuja brings together Ndi Anambra in the FCT and environs as well as their friends, in-laws, neighbours, colleagues and well-wishers to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage of various communities in Anambra State. Top government officials at Federal and State levels, Traditional rulers, Captains of Industry, Corporate Organisations, Academia, Media Moguls and many others are expected to grace the biennial event.
