he 2019 Anambra Cultural Day in FCT, Abuja is scheduled to hold on 9th November 2019 at the National Stadium, Abuja, the organizers have announced.
The biennial event hosted to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Ndi Anambra is put together by Anambra State Towns (People) Association (ASTPA) – Abuja. While unveiling the program for this year’s celebration, the President General of ASTPA, Ezennia (Engr) Ike Iwenofu said the occasion will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of His Royalty Engr. Otis Tabugbo Anyaeji, Obi Ubahu – Okija.
According to the President General, other dignitaries expected at this special event include the Special Guest of Honor, Alhaji Muhammad Musa Bello, Honourable Minister, Federal Capital Territory; the Chief Host, His Excellency, Chief (DR) Willie Obiano (Akpokuedike Global) Executive Governor, Anambra State; Father of the Day, Ojeligbo Sen. Ben Ndi Obi (Oku Uzu Awka); Royal Fathers of the Day, H R H Igwe Chukwuma Bob Vincent Orji, Ezeugo Ato II of Ezinifite Aguata; H R H Igwe (Arc) Augustne Oragwam, Ezeoranyelu III of Obeledu; H R H, Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu, Ezeranyelu I and Eze Ojoto III; Mother of the Day, Chief (Mrs) Chinwe Ezenwa, Adaokwulora.
The theme of the occasion is Igwebuike and it promises to be fun as different traditional dances and masquerades will display. There will also be assorted Anambra traditional delicacies and many more.
Everyone is invited irrespective of tribe and nationality.
